Angry Red Planet One of my favorite monster designs as a kid. I loved this monster then and now. 16x20 Acrylic on canvas |
Darjeeling Ltd. Wes Anderson is one of my favorite directors. I was struggling for something to represent him and the snake from The Darjeeling Limited just made sense. To me it represented uncontrollable beauty and tragedy. 16x20 Acrylic on canvas |
Eskimo (Heathers)
J.D.:
Wanna go out tonight? Catch a movie? Miniature golf? 20"x5" framed Acrylic on canvas |
Henrietta Another favorite creature design from Evil Dead 2. This is perhaps the Saturday Morning Cartoon version of Henrietta which I'd love to see. 16x20 Acrylic on canvas |
Frogs vs. Zombie Jesus Another film where the poster art was better than the film. I really want to see a film about giant frogs eating people - and maybe zombie Jesus'. Just Sayin'. 16x20 Acrylic on canvas |
Matango Also known as Attack of the Mushroom People. I love this film, not just because it parallels Gilligan's Island, the haunted ships, atmosphere but it's not really a horror film. The Mushroom People just try to peer pressure the standed castaways into eating mushrooms. That's it! Made by Toho who put out the Godzilla films. 16x20 Acrylic on canvas |
Terrorvision Charles Band's lost classic. This is in my top 5 favorite films and my wife and I quote it regularly. One day it will be released legitimately on DVD. I hope. See the VHS! 16x20 Acrylic on canvas |
Wasp Woman *inspired by the poster art that has nothith to do with the movie. I always thought the film would be more successful if it did. 16x20 Acrylic on canvas |
Trilogy of Terror One of the most iconic and undercelebrated horror characters. Before Chucky there was this Zuni fetish doll with it's stabbing and gnashing. Chucky never possessed Karen Black. 16x20 Acrylic on canvas |
The Mosquito Mosquito and Spider's Tribute the 1958 classic The Fly 16x20 Acrylic on canvas |
Hollywood ? Hookers The word "Chainsaw" is illegal to have in the title of motion pictures in Britain. This is such a ridiculous form of censorship - I made this piece as a tribute to it. 16x20 Acrylic on canvas |
Lefty and Lefty Lefty was Dennis Hopper's name in Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 and the severed left hand is from Evil Dead 2. They're both my favorite sequels of all time. This is my tribute to the 2's. 16x20 Acrylic on canvas |
Attack of the Beast Creatures If you haven't heard of this film, it's ok, the filmmakers are probably trying to bury it. Imagine an army of Trilogy of Terror dolls painted red and thrown at people. It's great trash! 11x14 Acrylic on canvas |
Fluffy What's in the box? What's in the box? This wolf/ape/beast from Creepshow was the thing of many a nightmare. And it ate Adrienne Barbeau, one of my favorite cheese actresses 16x20 Acrylic on canvas |
Sugar Hill Zombies versus Mafia Hitmen. What's not to love? Possibly the best blaxploitation and accurate voodoo film of the genre. 16x20 Acrylic on canvas |
In Trash We Trust Made to compliment Jeremy Cross' "The Pain of Being Dead" Return of the Living Dead is by far one of my favorite films. It introduced me to split dogs, punk rock and Linnea Quigley's boobs. It's value to cinema is immeasurable. 18x24 Acrylic on canvas |
The Creature Outside of The Monster Squad, The Creature from the Black Lagoon is one of the most neglected when it comes to sequels of all the Universal Monsters. 2 sequels vs. how many Dracula films? Unfair. 16x20 Acrylic on canvas |
Release The Kraken! "Release the Kraken" was slang for farting with my friends. And I love that the real Kraken was a giant octopus and Ray Harryhausen just said "Screw it, I'm making a 4 armed monkey-fish". 18x24 Acrylic on canvas |
From Hell it Came Remember the creepy trees from the Snow White forest? One ended up on a tropical island in this 1957 creature feature about a radioactive half-corpse, half log. "Frightmare! Born of Jungle Witchcraft! Created by a Curse!" 16x20 Acrylic on canvas |
The Fly Fly's are ugly, disgusting creatures. In some beliefs they're the souls of the damned. In films they're the alert of a corpse or a 1,000. The film chain titled The Fly exploits this fear of death omen. And Jeff Goldblum putting his parts in a medicine cabinet. 16x20 Acrylic on canvas Accented by Temple Terkildsen |

The Devil inside Sunrise Adams To fully cover my cinephillia I couldn't neglect porn. Sunrise Adams is my favorite porn star. If I learned anything from most Virgo's is they get off on work and having porn their work - It's a perfect match. 11x14 mixed media on canvas
